School to Work Transition
Making the Transition Work for YOU.
WORK Inc. offers two employment programs for individuals as young as 14 up to age 22, School To Work, through Greater Boston School Districts and PRE-Employment Transition Services, through Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission.
Developing a job and career in a field that you enjoy is a challenge that is getting more difficult everyday in our rapidly changing world. These programs are designed to explore student’s working conditions, work tolerance, career choices and opportunities. The programs look to ensure that every student is self-empowered with the knowledge and experience necessary to tailor a job to their unique contributions.
WORK Inc. has designed an inclusive model that values sustainable employment for all participants. WORK Inc. strives to integrate vocational goals with real world placements. We take the time to understand who you are as a candidate and work to develop employment that showcases you at your best.
Through a process of guided discovery students look to uncover the answers to many personal questions. Through establishing a service connection with WORK Inc., staff will cultivate a relationship resulting in a seamless continuation to adult services for students upon their exit from high school.
