WorkSource
Funded by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, WorkSource provides education and employment services and supports for people with chronic mental
illness. Our professional staff is available to assist people develop career goals and provide the long term support to help ensure optimal levels of success.
In our new computer lab we provide introductory training in
Windows95 and popular office software, in addition to helping participants explore a variety of careers that use computer skills. A basic introductory course of (10) two-hour sessions is offered every month. Individualized computer tutoring and an open lab are also available to participants on a sign-up basis.
Working with CAUSE, (Consumer Alliance United for Supported Education), WorkSource can help people identify the additional education they might need to meet their goals, providing assistance with school and course selection, enrollment, and financial aid.
Ongoing educational supports are available throughout the course of study.
