WORK Inc.'s International Program is designed to bring qualified human services professionals from foreign countries to the United States to expand their experience and knowledge in the field of rehabilitation. Through a combination of lectures, workshops, readings and practical direct-care experience, participants increase their skills and abilities, returning to their countries with a new level of expertise that can positively impact similar programs in their own countries. Under the American Youth Work Center Exchange Program, people can apply for and receive J-1 visas which enable them to work in the United States for 18 months.
