Deaf Services
WORK Inc. is the leader in vocational services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Massachusetts. Our programs support Deaf individuals who have secondary disabilities such as mental retardation, chronic mental illness, blindness or other physical disabilities. Other individuals served by our programs may not have secondary disabilities, but may be new to this country, need communication support or have little to no work experience.
We support individuals at all stages of vocational
readiness, offering community enclaves, work centers, temporary placements for evaluations, and
competitive placements.
Our staff of professionals are trained to work
all individuals and can tailor a vocational program based on their needs. Here is a sampling of the services we offer:

- Assistance in finding sign language Interpreters as needed
While the majority of our staff are Deaf, all are fluent in American Sign Language and
PSE, as well as other variations of sign language.
